The Lightning hosted the Hikes Point Lobos on Saturday August, 18th and pulled together a full day of victories to jump start the second week of the regular season and first conference home football games. The Mitey Mites shut out the Lobos with a 12-0 win. Cayden Simpson had two TD runs, one for 55 yards and the other for 15 yards while the strong defense held the Lobos scoreless. The PeeWees bounced back with a very strong victory 25-6 led defensively by Sebastian Blue and the Junior team had another strong outing with a 20-6 win led offensively by the 'Thunder and Lightning' dual tandom backfield running by Bailey Vance and Karwin 'Butter' Pope to remain undefeated for the season!
