What: Football Camp for Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers
When: June 25th- 28th , 9am -12pm
Where: King Louie Sports Complex, 600 N. English Station Rd., Louisville, Ky 40223 Who: Incoming 5th-7th grade Quarterbacks/ Wide Receivers Cost: $150 /player
Clinic will be hosted by: Marty Lowe- former Quarterback at The University of Louisville. 21 years coaching experience at all levels from Elementary School to Professional at all offensive positions.
Camp Focus and Daily Agenda: This camp is designed to work both positions at a beginner to mid-level of football skill and knowledge. Daily we will focus on specific mechanics by position then graduate into drill work and group work that will allow them to transfer the learned skill into on field implementation vs individual player read and vs a half field defensive coverage.
Daily agenda: (9a-12p)
*Classroom work (video analysis and study/ board work)- 45 min.
*Pre Practice Walk though of Concepts/ Drills for the Day- 10 min.
*Warm up (Stretch/ Functional Warm up/ Agilities/ Medicine Ball for Qbs)- 10 min.
*Throwing/ Catching Mechanics Routine- 15 min.
*Plyometrics/ Explosive Drills (Position specific)- 10 min.
*Position connected Drills- 15 min.
*Individual Routes vs Defensive Back mirror - 15 min.
*Situation throws/ routes- 10 min.
*Combination Routes vs defensive key/read- 15 min.
*Half Field Reads vs full defensive coverage- 20 min.
*Qb/ Wr pair up for specific directed skill work- 5 min.
