2021 we added a 13U Senior team for the first time in 8 years! They finished the year as league semi-finalists. Both our Pee Wee and Junior teams made the pllayoffs as well. The Juniors taking the North Division title in 2021!
2020 we played a Covid-shortened season. All three teams, finished well in a new competitive division. Both the Mighty Mites and Juniors finished tied for the division lead by end of year!
2019 saw all three Lightning teams earn their way into the Central Division Playoffs. Our 2019 Pee Wees were your LYFL Central Champions!
Lightning traveled to J-Town Bulldogs on Aug 25th and followed up with another strong group of wins to bring the Mighty Mites to 2-1, Pee Wees to 2-1 and Juniors to 3-0 for the season!
Lightning hosted Franklin Co. Rams on September 8th with severe storms in the area. Mighty Mites and Pee Wees win, Juniors take 1st loss of the season
Lightning traveled to play Southend Dragons on September 15th, it was a trifecta of wins vs. the Dragons and all three teams move to 4-1 on the season.
Lightning faced S. Dixie Spartans on September 22nd, Mitey Mites and Pee Wees both won, Junior game was postponed due to rain and field conditions, game was played on Saturday, Sept 29th and unfortunately the Lightning came up short with a 6-0 loss.
September 30th, Lightning hosted the OC Tigers and was able to bring home the victories across the board and was able to solidify all three teams into the post season playoffs!
Lightning faced the Shelbyville Storm October 7th at home to wrap up the regular season at Homecoming. Our Mighty Mites and Juniors fell a little short, but our Pee Wees won to take home the regular season championship!
Post Season Begins Oct 21st at St. X! Our Mighty Mites will be the #2 seed playing against the Hikes Point Lobos. Our Pee Wees have the #1 seed also playing the Hikes Point Lobos and our Juniors have the #3 seed playing the Franklin Co. Rams to see who goes on to the championship!
